Honda Navi sales cross 10,000 units

The India-made bike has a 109cc engine which makes 8hp and delivers 8.96Nm of torque; costs under Rs 40,000.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced that the Honda Navi sales have crossed 10,000 units, just two months since its availability. The bike had received 900 bookings within five weeks of its unveiling at Auto Expo 2016. The two-wheeler targets 18-24 year-olds in urban areas.

Honda Navi is powered by Activa 110cc engine which makes 8hp at 7,000rpm and delivers a peak torque of 8.96Nm at 5,500rpm. The bike runs on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels, each equipped with a 130mm drum-type braking unit, and gets tubeless tyres. It also features upside-down telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic mono-shock at the rear. The bike is manufactured at the company’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan and is priced at Rs 39,648 (ex-showroom Delhi).
