A few weeks ago, we were the first to report that the Honda Dio will soon be receiving the H-Smart treatment and now the company has listed the price for the same on the website.
Honda Dio: price hike for existing variants
The standard and DLX variants of the Dio were earlier priced at Rs 68,625 and Rs 72,626, respectively. Now, with OBD-2 compliance, these have risen by Rs 1,586 to Rs 70,211 and Rs 74,212, respectively. Aside from this bump up in price, nothing else has changed on these two variants.
At Rs 77,712, the Dio H-Smart is the most expensive variant of the popular 110cc scooter. Currently, no specs are listed on the website for this model, but if the Activa H-Smart is anything to go by, the Dio H-Smart should be slightly lighter due to the presence of alloy wheels as opposed to the steel ones on the other variants. What remains to be seen is whether the Dio H-Smart will also miss out on the kickstart as is the case with the other H-Smart variants.
