Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India Ltd. (HMSI) has announced a free check-up and service drive in  Chennai to assist all its customers affected by the recent floods. A total of 81 authorised service centres – 58 in Chennai, 12 in Kanchipuram and 11 in Cuddalore – will be participating in the drive.

To ensure that the services reach even the remotest of areas, Honda has specially allocated mobile service vans to provide door-to-door assistance under its 'Service on Wheels' initiative which will be on until December 24. All affected two- wheelers from the manufacturer are entitled to free labour and engine oil replacement.

“In this wake of recent devastating calamity, Honda is committed to rebuild the lives of our customers and address their needs for mobility. This contribution is a way of expressing solidarity with the people of Tamil Nadu, as they start to rebuild from scratch”, said HMSI president and CEO Keita Muramatsu. Honda has also stated  that for convenience purposes, special executives have been designated to respond to queries in the local language.

Honda customers can register vehicles by calling Honda 2 Wheelers Toll Free Customer Care on 1800-103-3434. They can also visit the nearest service centre for a free vehicle check-up.
