Honda has announced a major update to its brand identity, introducing three distinct emblems to better differentiate between its electric and internal-combustion motorcycle portfolios. The internal-combustion engine models will get two emblems – one for flagship models of each product line and one for the rest – while all electric motorcycles will feature a separate emblem.

Honda announces new branding strategy

Separate identities for electric and ICE products

All future Honda electric motorcycles will adopt a new emblem featuring a dedicated “Honda” wordmark in a minimalist font that we’ve previously seen on the Honda WN7. This design will extend to its EV showrooms and associated marketing materials as well.

For its internal-combustion motorcycles, Honda will now use two versions of its iconic Wing logo. Flagship models, like the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, Rebel 1100 and Gold Wing, will wear a silver wing set against a black background. This new emblem made its debut on the V3R 900 prototype showcased at EICMA 2025 and will be adopted across all flagship models from next year.

Meanwhile, Honda’s mid-tier and commuter motorcycles will continue to wear the familiar silver wing over a red background with the “Honda” text beneath.
