Hero MotoCorp now in Peru

Hero MotoCorp expands global footprint, enters Peruvian two-wheeler market.

Hero MotoCorp has now entered Peru’s growing two-wheeler market with a range of motorcycles an scooters. Hero has set up a collaboration with MOTOCORP S.A.C, who become the sole distributors for Hero motorcycles and scooters in Peru. These Hero bikes will initially go on sale through 85 retailers around the country, with Hero planning to increase this number in the near future.

Hero’s Peruvian portfolio consists of the Pleasure, Passion Pro, Glamour, Hunk, Thriller, Karizma ZMR and Karizma R. Pawan Munjal, CEO Hero MotoCorp, Jamie Prieto, President MOTOCORP S.A.C and Maria Julia Mantilla, former Miss World and surfing world champion were all present at the launch. Hero MotoCorp recently crossed 50 million cumulative sales and is targeting worldwide sales of 100 million units by 2020.
