Hero Electric has announced its 'Be Safe - Keep Safe' programme in collaboration with Pathkind Diagnostics, a healthcare and diagnostics company. Under the initiative, Pathkind Diagnostics will use Hero Electric's scooters to provide end-to-end sample collection.

Hero Electric says its scooters provide a perfect solution for a ‘home to home’ commute at a fraction of a cost of a public transport or even a petrol bike. These custom Hero Electric scooters will come with a cargo compartment and sport branded livery. This would allow riders to safely take and transport samples efficiently and securely across Pathkind’s centres.

Hero says that its scooters allow riders to be extra cautious by avoiding shared mobility as well as petrol pumps where paper money transactions could pose a problem with COVID-19 transmission.

Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said, “This is just a start of EVs tapping into and giving organisations a very compelling alternative mobility solution. This is, of course, aimed to save the environment, reduce costs while increasing the efficiency and revenue for the organisations.”
