Harley-Davidson’s popular Fat Boy has been around for a while now and the year 2015 marks the 25th anniversary of this model that has been consistent with its popularity in global markets. The premium motorcycle is also sold in India and has quite a large fan following here as well.

The big, old-school cruiser belongs to the Harley-Davidson Softail family, which also features the Heritage Softail Classic and the Breakout models. The Fat Boy is powered by a 1,690cc,
V-twin, air-cooled powerplant that produces 13.5kgm of maximum torque at 3,500rpm.

In the year 1991, the Fat Boy was a part of the movie ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’, and now 24 years later, the latest version of H-D’s Fat Boy finds place in the new ‘Terminator Genisys’ movie. This does emphasise the brand’s long-standing association with the movie franchise. Or it could just be the preferred choice for the man from the future.

Currently, Harley-Davidson’s Fat Boy costs Rs 15,08,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in red, black and a dual-tone paint scheme of amber and black.
