Honda’s Indian two-wheeler arm, HMSI has successfully organised and completed a group big bike ride around Delhi to promote riding safety, together with well known city-based superbikers, Group Of Delhi Superbikers, also known as GODS. A twenty-five member strong riding team from GODS participated in this ride astride their exotic superbikes on July 13.

The ride started from the recently inaugurated Honda showroom at Naraina, and finished after 45kms at Manesar. Participating members of the GODS team were all presented with a specially designed first aid kit from HMSI. During the event, HMSI also provided the riders with a training session from medical experts, teaching them handling of various potentially life threatening situations. Some handy emergency tips that the riders were taught included, handling small fractures, caring for an unconscious rider, and transporting an injured rider to emergency care safely. The riders were also taught to handle a damaged, heavy motorcycle in case of a crash.
