EICMA is celebrating the successful completion of a hundred years of functioning. To mark this, the company has changed its name to Esposizione Mondiale del Motociclismo, which literally means 'The worldwide exhibition for motorcycling'. They have also changed the company's logo for a more motorcycle-focused appearance.

EICMA has lined up a slew of small events in the coming months, leading to the main celebratory event that will take place from November 6-9 at Fiera Milano. One of the novelties at the main event will be the '100 years of history toward the future' project that was brought to realisation in cooperation with the monthly, In Moto. A hundred birthday candles will be lit at the exhibition to represent the companies that display their latest products at the exhibition every year. Each pavilion at the event will showcase a dedicated area for companies describing a particular product or success story that marked out their path.

The EICMA show is world renowned for its incredible display of motorcycles from almost every manufacturer each year. Most of the motorcycles on sale worldwide are displayed here, and the show serves as a platform for global exposure and to encourage international trade.
