    In 2022, Ducati delivered a record 61,562 motorcycles around the world, making it the best-ever year for the brand. This represented an increase of 3.6 percent over 2021, when 59,346 units were sold. In addition to the commercial successes, Ducati triumphed on track as well, in both MotoGP and WorldSBK, with Francesco Bagnaia and Alvaro Bautista being crowned World Champions, respectively. Both were long-awaited world championships, with the last ones being in 2007 with Casey Stoner in MotoGP and in 2011 with Carlos Checa in World Superbike.

    Bestselling markets, countries for Ducati 

    In 2022, Ducati sold 9,578 motorcycles in its home turf of Italy, making it the brand’s best-selling market, followed by the United States in second place, with 8,441 bikes sold. The third best-selling market for Ducati was Germany, with 6,678 motorcycles delivered.  

    The Multistrada V4 range was the best-selling model in the Bologna-based marque’s line-up, with 10,716 motorcycles delivered worldwide. With 7,739 units sold, the Monster was the next bestseller in the brand’s line-up and the Scrambler 800 range closed out the top three with 6,880 bikes delivered.

    2022 was also a record year for Ducati’s ever-expanding sales network, with 821 Ducati dealerships worldwide, which also includes the addition of two new dealerships in India at Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. We reached out to Ducati India for the exact numbers in our market but as per their policy, official sales numbers aren’t shared.
