Ducati has introduced two new variants of the Scrambler in international markets – Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro and Urban Motard.

  • Scrambler 1100 Pro features special Giallo Ocra yellow colour

  • Urban Motard shod with Pirelli Rosso 3 tyres

  • Mechanically unchanged

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro

As the name suggests, this motorcycle celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Ducati air-cooled L-twin engine. In fact, the Scrambler is now the only Duacti on sale to feature that engine.

What sets apart the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro from other 1100 Pro motorcycles is the special Giallo Ocra yellow colour, which is inspired by the ‘70s Ducati 750 Sport. The brown seat and black spoke wheels contrast well with the yellow shade, while the round mirrors, too, look inspired from that decade’s style.

Other retro Ducati inspirations are seen in the ‘70s Ducati Logo on the 15-litre fuel tank,  designed by Giugiaro.

Mechanically, this special edition motorcycle is the same as the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro, including the 1,079cc, L-twin engine that makes 86hp at 7,500rpm and 88Nm at 4,750rpm. Electronics include cornering traction control and ABS, plus three ride modes – Active, Journey, City.

The Scrambler Urban Motard is inspired by the Supermoto style motorcycles. While this is essentially a Scrambler 800, the bike gets road-biased Pirelli Rosso 3 tyres (120/70-R17 front and 180/55-R17 rear). The wide handlebar and flat seat are also in keeping with the Supermoto inspiration.

Besides this, the styling elements are an amalgamation of Scrambler and Supermoto design ethos. The Scrambler Urban Motard gets a high front mudguard and a side panel to complete the Urban Motard look. The bold white and orange colours also stand out among 800cc Ducati Scramblers.

Mechanically, the bike is the same as Scrambler 800s. Its 803cc, L-twin makes 73hp at 8,250rpm and 66.2Nm at 5,250rpm. The electronics package is carried forward as well.

Ducati may bring these Scrambler variants to India. Stay tuned for more information.
