Bajaj will soon bring its new VS400 to our market. We also brought you the story a few days ago of Bajajreadying a new brand for its 400cc power cruiser. Reliable sources have now unofficially confirmed that this new brand will be called 'Kratos'.

The Greek mythology, Kratos is the God of Strength, and Bajaj will be using this moniker for its premium brand, that sits above the Pulsar range, and will remain exclusive to the existing models.

The VS400 will be powered by the same engine used in the KTM Duke 390. Bajaj, however, is sure to have incorporated tuning changes to this 373cc motor to suit the cruiser's touring-oriented nature. The engine which makes around 35hp should get Bajaj’s signature triple-spark technology, and will come mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Bajaj is also readying a refresh for its existing Pulsar line-up with revised 150, 180 and 220 models expected to hit showrooms by the end of this year.
