Bajaj has launched a variant of its Discover 125ST called the Discover 125T. The T is positioned just under the more premium priced Discover 125ST, and attempts to reach out to a wider audience. The Discover 125T is aesthetically identical to 125ST, with only minor tweaks to the tank graphics, and the absence of a tyre hugger. On the mechanical front, the 125T houses the same 124.6cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine with a four valve head. However, the 125T makes slightly less power, 12.3bhp at 9000rpm. Peak torque remains a constant at 1.1kgm on the T, now available at 6500rpm, at 500rpm earlier in the powerband than on the ST. A 5-speed, 1-down, 4-up shifting gearbox also remains. What’s more, the Discover 125T gets a set of gas-charged shock absorbers at rear, contrary to the Nitrox monoshock sold with the 125ST.

The Discover 125T is available in two trims, a drum brake variant priced at Rs 52,500 while the front disc brake equipped bike is priced at Rs 55,500 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
