Bounce Infinity has begun production of the E1 electric scooter and said it will begin deliveries from April 18. The company states that it has stuck to the delivery timeline that was promised during the launch event in Bengaluru last year.

The Bounce Infinity E1 is being made at the company’s facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, with a capacity of 2,00,00 units annually, and will serve as Bounce Infinity’s national manufacturing hub. It says it plans to open another facility in southern India later this year.

The E1 is the company’s first EV and is being offered with a unique ‘Battery as a service’ (BaaS) option, where customers can either buy the scooter with the battery and the charger, or even avail the battery pack on a rental basis. The Bounce Infinity E1 has been priced at Rs 68,999 with the battery and charger, while it costs Rs 45,099 without the battery (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

We’ve reviewed the Bounce Infinity E1 and you can read all about it here.
