The two-day format is aimed exclusively at owners of the brand’s GS adventure motorcycles and focuses on improving riding technique and control in low-grip and uneven terrain. The programme kicks off at Chandigarh on February 14.

1. BMW GS Experience will be split into Level 1 and Level 2
2. Level 1 covers the basics whereas Level 2 includes more complex training
3. Each batch will accommodate 40 riders

2026 BMW GS Experience: What to expect?

The training programme will include two separate tracks for smaller capacity and big bike riders

The programme will be split into Level 1 and Level 2 modules, with separate tracks for smaller-capacity and big-bike riders. Each batch will accommodate 40 participants – 20 riders on the G 310 GS motorcycles and 20 riders on GS models with higher displacement engines.

BMW GS Experience training programme announced for 2026

Level 1 covers the basics, including rider’s posture, throttle and clutch control off the road, steering techniques, emergency braking and riding on slopes. Riders who complete this module move on to Level 2, which introduces more complex scenarios such as sand and gravel riding, off-camber sections, hill climbs and descents, figure-of-eight drills, tight turns and recovery techniques. The higher level also familiarises riders with off-road-specific electronic settings for the large capacity GS’ such as Enduro Pro mode, which alters ABS and traction control intervention.
Training sessions will be conducted by instructors certified by the BMW Motorrad International Instructor Academy, with a mix of classroom briefings and supervised riding on both tarmac and dirt sections.
