Ducati says that the Multistrada V2 is aimed at those who love the versatility of a twin-cylinder engine: offering an accessible yet exhilarating ride in different conditions, while enjoying the sportiness that has always characterised the motorcycles from Borgo Panigale.
- 890cc, V-twin produces 115hp and 92Nm
- 18kg lighter than the previous model
- S variant available in two colour schemes
New Ducati Multistrada V2
Specifications.
The new Multistrada V2 is more sophisticated and lighter than before, weighing 18kg less than the previous model, thereby achieving a kerb weight of 199kg (without fuel). The S variant has a kerb weight of 202kg (without fuel). It gets a 19-litre fuel tank, 1 litre less than its predecessor, which has contributed to some of its weight reduction.
The 2025 Multistrada V2 also gets some new styling elements in the form of new headlights and DRLs, which is inspired by the latest-generation Panigale and Multistrada V4 and give it an aggressive front end. Additionally, the new silencer has a sharper shape.
It makes use of an 890cc, V-twin producing 115hp at 10,750rpm and 92Nm at 8,250rpm. This marks a 2.6hp increase while torque output has gone down by 3.9Nm. Both variants, the V2 and the V2 S, get a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and bi-directional quickshifter.
The Multistrada V2 S uses semi-active suspension with Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) electronic control. It also has a Minimum Preload function, which allows the rear suspension to be lowered to a minimum with the simple press of a button. Additionally, Ducati has moved away from the trellis frame and now offers a monocoque front frame.

In terms of electronics, the new 5” TFT colour screen has a completely revamped interface based on three different Info modes. There are five riding modes: Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and Wet. The Riding Modes set the cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Engine Brake Control (EBC) to pre-defined levels, and can be modified by the rider. The Multistrada V2 is equipped as standard with Cruise Control, a USB socket integrated into the dashboard, and the Ducati Brake Light EVO (flashes under emergency braking).
Ducati says that the new Multistrada V2 is also easier to handle when stationary and at low speeds, and thanks to the redesigned ergonomics and a lower seat height, riders can rest their feet on the ground more safely.
