2025 Vespa 125 lineup launched, prices start at Rs 1.32 lakh

Vespa has refreshed its entire line-up and introduced the new Vespa 125, with prices starting at Rs 1.32 lakh. For now, the brand has announced pricing only for its 125cc models, which are available in four variants. The base variant is priced at Rs 1.32 lakh, while the top-end ‘S Tech’ variant costs Rs 1.96 lakh.

Vespa 125, S 125, Tech 125, S Tech 125 launch details

Vespa has updated the engine and features of its iconic scooter line-up. The overall design, too, receives subtle changes, and there are now a host of new colours (single and dual-tone) depending on the variant you choose. The base Vespa 125 is now available in seven colours: Verde Amabile, Rosso Red, Pearl White, Nero Black, Azzurro Provenza, Blue & Pearl White, and Orange & Pearl White.

Moving up, the Vespa S 125 variant offers a total of eight colours: Verde Ambizioso (Matte), Oro, Pearl White, Nero Black (Matte), Giallo Yellow (Matte), Arancio Impulsivo, Red & Pearl White, and Black & Pearl White. The "Oro" colour, featuring a gold tint, is a tribute to India’s love for gold. This variant is priced at Rs 1.36 lakh, which is Rs 4,000 more than the base model.

The Vespa Tech and Vespa S Tech are two new variants that offer slightly revised styling and a few additional features over the previous two variants, such as keyless ignition, a 5-inch TFT and Bluetooth connectivity. The Vespa Tech 125 will be available in three colours: Qala (Special Edition), Energico Blue and Grigio Grey. This variant costs an additional Rs 56,000 over the Vespa S 125 and is available for Rs 1.92 lakh. Meanwhile, the Vespa S Tech 125 is available in two colours: Nero Black (Matte) and Pearl White. This top-of-the-line variant is available for Rs 1.96 lakh.

Vespa has upgraded both its 125cc and 150cc engines, delivering a slight boost in performance. The updated 125cc engine now produces 9.5hp at 7,100rpm and 10.1Nm at 5,600rpm, while the 150cc engine generates 11.4hp at 7,500rpm and 11.66Nm at 6,100rpm, reflecting an increase of 0.7hp and 0.6Nm over the previous model.

The company is yet to announce pricing for the 150cc models, which will be revealed later. However, these models are expected to be offered in four variants, with the same colour options and feature distribution as the 125cc line-up. The updated Vespa range will be available at dealerships starting February 25.
