KTM 390 Adventure price, launch in India

KTM has finally launched the latest generation of the 390 Adventure and it is priced at Rs 3.68 lakh. This bike is based on an all-new platform and shares very little with the bike we have come to know over the past five years.

  1. Now comes standard with tubeless spoke wheels, cruise control
  2. Riding modes, TC, bidirectional quickshifter also standard
  3. Available in two colours - orange and white

The 390 Adventure is powered by the same engine seen on the latest 390 Duke. Which means you get a 399cc, single-cylinder motor pushing out 46hp and 39Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a bidirectional quickshifter. In trademark KTM fashion, this mill is housed in a steel trellis frame suspended by adjustable WP suspension.

The big new feature additions on the 390 Adventure are tubeless spoked wheels (21/17-inch, front and rear) and cruise control, and the latter is a first for this class. At 183kg, the new 390 Adventure is 6 kilos heavier than the previous bike, despite carrying the same 14.5 litres of fuel. However, the new bike has a much lower 830mm seat height and a higher 227mm ground clearance figure.

At Rs 3.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new KTM 390 Adventure has no direct rivals, with the closest competitor being the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which is much more affordable. KTM has also informed us that while the 390 Enduro R hasn’t gone on sale yet, it will soon.
