Kawasaki K-Care Package: benefits
Under Kawasaki’s new K-Care package for owners of the recently launched Ninja ZX-10R, customers get the benefit of extended warranty as well as an Annual Maintenance Contract.
The standard warranty for the 2021 ZX-10R is two years or 30,000km. However, with the extended warranty the bike is covered for an additional two years or a total of 50,000km, whichever comes first. An extended warranty offers peace of mind against any manufacturing defects as the said part, which is usually quite expensive, is replaced free of cost. This, however, doesn't include normal wear and tear items such as brake pads, oil filters, bulbs etc.
The best bit though is that the extended warranty is transferable to the new owner while reselling the motorcycle. All said, the company has made it clear that the customer has to adhere to the scheduled periodic maintenance to avail of the warranty.
Speaking of maintenance, the K-Care package's Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) offers 8 preventive services over a period of four years. It covers the cost of carrying out maintenance procedures such as oil and oil filter change, brake caliper cleaning, wheel bearing check, washing and a lot more.

Kawasaki is also offering extended warranty or Annual Maintenance Contract as separate packages, in case the new ZX-10R owners don't wish to avail both under K-Care. While the benefits under each package are the same, the extended warranty is priced at Rs 53,065 while the AMC will set you back by Rs 47,461.
