Aprilia has launched the SR125 scooter for Rs 65,310 (ex-showroom, Pune). The SR 125, aims to bank on the SR 150’s aggressive design and enthusiastic handling while being relatively easier on the wallet to own and run.
The new SR 125 is marginally cheaper than its 150cc sibling, which retails at Rs 69,146 (ex-showroom, Pune). Apart from two new colours – matte silver and gloss blue – the SR 125 is visually identical to the 150. It uses a 125cc engine that produces 9.5hp at 7,250rpm and 9.9Nm of torque at 6,250rpm.
The SR 125 uses the same 14 inch wheels with 120/70 section front and rear tyres. It also has the same 220mm front disc brake and 140mm drum at the rear. Like its elder sibling, the 125 is also carburetted and is equipped with the same 6.5 litre fuel tank.
