The Z650 is the most affordable big bike from Kawasaki, priced at Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Z shares its engine, electronics and rolling chassis with the popular Ninja 650 but gets different styling. The Z650 hasn't changed much in nearly 5 years, since it got a refresh and an update to meet the Euro5 emission standards.

The Z650 is one of five Kawasaki 650s sold in India, the others being the Ninja, Versys, Vulcan and Z650RS. With 68hp and 64Nm of torque on tap, the Z serves as a compelling option for someone looking for their first big bike. With an approachable 790mm seat height and a kerb weight of 188kg, the Z is also a good option for those of shorter stature. It is available in a single variant and the only colour offered is black with green accents.
