The Kawasaki Z H2 SE is essentially a more refined version of the standard Z H2, sharing the same 998cc supercharged engine that produces 200hp and 137Nm of torque, but adding electronic enhancements for comfort and control. The biggest difference is the Showa Skyhook electronic suspension on the SE, which adjusts damping in real-time to smooth out bumps and reduce pitching under braking, making it noticeably easier to manage on long rides or with a passenger compared to the standard Z H2’s conventional suspension. Braking performance is also upgraded with Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers on the SE versus the M4.32s on the base model, giving more confidence at high speeds. The SE is slightly heavier, around 240 kg, versus 239 kg for the Z H2, but the extra weight comes from these premium components. The Z H2 SE is priced at Rs 28.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India)

Poll of the month

What do you think about the push for ethanol blends even higher than E20 petrol?

Good move; it cuts dependence on crude oil imports
I support it as it’s a greener solution than pure petrol
I’ll accept it only if it’s cheaper than E20 petrol
I am concerned about damage to my vehicle
Not good; fuel efficiency will drop even further
