The Nightshift is the cafe racer styled variant in Ducati's Scrambler lineup. It comes in a single shade - Emerald Green - and is the only model in the lineup to have wire-spoke wheels and bar-end mirrors. Powered by the same 803cc, 90-degree V-Twin that's air/coil-cooled as the rest of the Scrambler lineup, the Nightshift makes an identical 73hp/65Nm as the other models.

It comes with a 4.3-in colour TFT display and the same suite of riding aids as the standard Icon variant of the Scrambler. Where Ducati has differentiated it is in the aesthetic department giving it a lower handlebar, a quilted tan leather seat, slightly different side panels and round LED indicators. At Rs 13.47 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the Scrambler Nightshift is the most expensive variant in the range.

Poll of the month

What do you think about the push for ethanol blends even higher than E20 petrol?

Good move; it cuts dependence on crude oil imports
I support it as it’s a greener solution than pure petrol
I’ll accept it only if it’s cheaper than E20 petrol
I am concerned about damage to my vehicle
Not good; fuel efficiency will drop even further
