The revised GST structure has made all motorcycles under 350cc more affordable, but its most significant impact on buying decisions is likely in the more price-sensitive entry-level segments. The 125cc space has seen popular models like the TVS Raider 125, Honda CB125 Hornet, Hero Xtreme 125R and Bajaj Pulsar N125 become even more affordable. With GST on these bikes reduced from 28 percent to 18 percent, here’s how they now compare in terms of price.

Honda CB125 Hornet price after GST

Honda CB125 Hornet price starts at Rs 1.03 lakh

The Honda CB125 Hornet has seen a price cut of Rs 9,229, dropping from Rs 1.12 lakh to just under Rs 1.03 lakh. Available in a single variant, the Hornet stands out as the only bike in this segment to feature a USD fork while also offering a TFT display and single-channel ABS as standard. Power comes from a 123.94cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 11.1hp and 11.2Nm, making it a smooth and engaging machine.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 price after GST

Bajaj Pulsar N125 price starts at Rs 91,692

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is available in two variants, both offering a front disc brake and differentiated by the availability of Bluetooth connectivity on the digital cluster. Previously priced at Rs 93,158 and Rs 99,213, the variants are now priced at Rs 91,692 and Rs 93,158, respectively.

The N125 uses a 124.6cc single-cylinder engine producing 12hp and 11Nm, making it the most powerful bike on paper in this list. The top-spec variant features an LED headlight and digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, but neither variant offers any form of ABS.

Hero Xtreme 125R price after GST

Hero Xtreme 125R price starts at Rs 91,116

The Hero Xtreme 125R is available in three variants, priced at Rs 91,116 for the non-ABS version and Rs 94,504 for the other two variants that get ABS. The bike has seen prices drop by as much as Rs 8,010 since the revised GST came into force. The ABS is a single-channel unit, and the bikes also get an LED headlight and digital console with Bluetooth connectivity. Powering the bike is a 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 11.5hp and 10.5Nm.

TVS Raider 125 price after GST

Prices for the TVS Raider start at Rs 80,500

The TVS Raider 125 range has seen prices drop across all variants following the GST revision, with prices now starting at Rs 80,500 for the base drum brake variant, down from Rs 87,625.

The manufacturer recently introduced a dual-disc variant with single-channel ABS, prices for which start at Rs 93,800, making it the most affordable bike in India to feature ABS. There’s also a slightly more expensive version of this bike that features a TFT console instead of an LCD unit, with this range-topping variant priced at Rs 95,600. All variants are powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that makes 11.2hp and 11.2Nm.

TVS Raider 125 vs Honda CB125 Hornet vs Hero Xtreme 125R vs Bajaj Pulsar N125 price difference

The TVS Raider is the most affordable by a clear margin, though the base model skips features like ABS and a front disc brake. Even so, the top-end Raider with disc brakes at both ends, single-channel ABS, and a TFT display still offers excellent value at Rs 95,600.

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 boasts the strongest engine on paper, but the lack of ABS across variants might be a concern for some buyers. The Honda CB125 Hornet demands a premium but backs it up with quality, reliability and features like the USD fork and TFT screen.

Ultimately, the GST revision has made this entire segment more accessible. If you’re just comparing the top-spec variants across these models, the price disparity is relatively narrow, and the decision will likely come down to brand preference and the features you value most.

All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
