CAR BRAKE PADS AND SHOES

2/3-WHEELER BRAKING
Ferodo® offers a range of 2/3 Wheeler brake pads, shoes and clutches with performance and modulation appreciated by the world’s best riders. Ferodo® brake shoes have better NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) characteristics in all weather conditions, while a range of organic and sintered brake pads provide the performance and modulation appreciated by the riding champions. The material used in clutches has unique characteristics and provides excellent performance, even during severe use.
CV BRAKE LINING AND DISC PADS
Ferodo® brake linings meet or exceed vehicle manufacturer specifications and offer minimal drum wear, which translates into an extended lifetime. Manufactured in-house at a state-of-the-art plant in Chennai, all Ferodo® brake linings undergo exhaustive testing procedures in order to maintain our high standards. They pass stringent dynamometer and road trials to guarantee top performance, even in the extreme environment of CV brake systems. That’s testing to perfection.
A Story Of Innovation
1897 - Ferodo starts making brakes for horse-drawn carts.
1902 - The first brake linings are introduced.
1922 - Ferodo becomes the first company to supply original equipment (OE) linings for mass-produced cars, with linings fitted to the Austin 7.
1926 - JG Parry-Thomas breaks the world landspeed record of 169mph (272 kph) at Pendine Sands using Ferodo brakes.
1956 - Ferodo introduces the first disc brake-pad on a mass-produced vehicle – the Triumph TR3.
1963 - Donald Campbell sets a landspeed record of 403.1mph (649kph) using Ferodo brakes.
1969 - Ferodo opens the world’s largest brake-test facility.
1980 - Ferodo adds discs, brake fluid and hydraulics to its leading brake pad offerings.
1998 - Ferodo is acquired by Federal-Mogul and Ferodo Racing is created in Mondovi, Italy.
2005 - Ferodo racing introduces Siloxane technology.
2010 - ‘You’re in control’ – Ferodo develops a new brand promise.
2012 - Ferodo introduces a new improved box featuring greater structural integrity, top-opening access and Anti-counterfeit technology.
2015 - Ferodo® brake pads for European passenger vehicles offered to North American service providers.
