Both models get a frunk, though the Tata’s is just 11.6 litres while the Mahindra's is 45 litres. Further, the BE 6 Pack One is available in eight colour options, while the Curvv EV Creative 45 comes in just three out of five exterior finishes that Tata offers.

It gets larger screens, on-board navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Type C fast chargers, 60:40 split-folding rear seats with a 2-step recline function, front and rear seat armrests, a cooled glove box, and telescopic adjust for the steering wheel. While higher variants of the Curvv EV do get most of the aforementioned features, a significant omission across the Tata SUV’s variant line-up is telescopic steering adjust.

In terms of safety kit, the entry-level variants of the Curvv EV and BE 6 are evenly matched. The only bit where Tata’s e-SUV pulls ahead is with an air purifier, which the BE 6 gets on the higher-spec Pack Three Select variant.

Mahindra BE 6 Pack One vs Tata Curvv EV Creative 45: verdict

Overall, the Mahindra BE 6 Pack One is better equipped, and offers more range and power than the Tata Curvv EV Creative 45. However, one needs to account for the significant price difference between the two. As mentioned above, a 7.2kW AC fast charger (and its installation) will add Rs 50,000 to the BE 6 Pack One’s price tag, which means it’ll cost Rs 19.4 lakh. That’s a massive Rs 1.91 lakh more than the entry-level Curvv EV, which makes deciding the more value-for-money model far more difficult, on paper. A more detailed on-road comparison will be necessary to decide if the BE 6 Pack One or the Curvv EV Creative 45 offers more bang for your buck.
