What is the price of the Simple Ultra?

The Simple Ultra is priced at Rs 2.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The scooter is now available for test rides and purchase at Simple Stores across India as well as on the company’s website. The brand currently operates close to 70 touchpoints across cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Chennai, with plans to expand to Nagpur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, and other cities in the coming months.

What is the Simple Ultra range?

The Simple Ultra is powered by a 6.5kWh lithium-ion battery offering a claimed IDC range of 400km. The battery uses a dual-battery architecture, comprising a 5kWh main unit and a secondary 1.5kWh unit. Simple Energy claims this is the longest range offered by any electric scooter in India. Charging time is 8 hours and 30 minutes for a 0-80 percent charge using the standard 750W portable charger. With fast charging, the same can be achieved in 2 hours and 15 minutes, adding up to 1.5km of range per minute.

What is the Simple Ultra top speed?

The Simple Ultra has a claimed top speed of 115kph. It is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 8.8kW of peak power and 72Nm of torque. According to Simple Energy, the scooter can accelerate from 0-40kph in 2.77 seconds, making it the second-fastest electric scooter in India after the Simple One 5kWh variant. The motor delivers a continuous output of 4.5kW and is IP67-rated for water and dust resistance.

What features does the Simple Ultra have?

The Simple Ultra comes equipped with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display running SimpleOS. It includes built-in MapMyIndia navigation, call and music controls, and message alerts. The scooter features four levels of traction control with modes – Rain, Road, Rally, and Track – and offers six riding modes: Eco X, Eco, Ride, Air, Sonic, and Sonic X. Additional features include cruise control, hill-hold assist, reverse mode, Drop Safe (which cuts power in the event of a fall), and theft and tow alerts via the Simple Connect app.

What is the seat height and weight of the Simple Ultra?

The Simple Ultra has a seat height of 780mm and weighs 139kg. Other notable dimensions include a ground clearance of 172mm and a wheelbase of 1,347mm. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with 90/90 tubeless tyres at both ends.
