Given the current road conditions with cement roads, I want to upgrade from my Grand i10 to an SUV. I was considering the Vitara or Hyryder for their hybrid mileage, but I love Hyundai and am drawn to the Creta. I drive about 20 km daily in the city, 50 km on weekends, and take a 1,000 km getaway once every 3-4 months. My budget is under ₹20 lakh. I prefer an automatic and want a sunroof. Please suggest the best SUV for my needs.

Since you are inclined towards the Hyundai Creta, go for it. The 1.5-litre petrol-automatic, is a great combination for its smoothness and refinement.

In addition, this Hyundai car is more spacious than the Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and has a larger boot than the hybrid twins. Also, Creta in its petrol-auto guise, the SX Premium CVT comes with a sunroof among other premium features), is more affordable too.
