I am looking to buy a 6/7-seater EV. My primary usage will be as a 4-seater, with occasional 6-seater use. I will mainly drive it in the city for my daily office commute and undertake long-distance trips of around 500 km once every two months. I have a solar setup at home and can charge the vehicle comfortably. My budget is Rs 30-40 lakh, although I can stretch it slightly if required.

Thank you. I had concerns of the third row only in 9s, though it can be managed for short trips. Are there any new three row EVs lined up worth waiting?
In the space of EV's i don't think there are any 3 row EV's lined up. Even if they are any surprise launches in the future, they won't be able to match the Value-for-money quotient of the XEV 9S
Wait for tata safari EV
Don't look beyond the XEV9S, that's the best option for a 6 to 7 seater, the second row of seatz can be moved to and Fro to adjust space for passengers. Range, pick up, features and interior quality is top notch.
Confused between Windsor EV vs XEV 9S pack 2. Daily running is 160kms. Mostly Chauffeur driven. Need a comfortable ride with very low maintenance
The XEV 9S Pack Two Above will be a better pick. The Pack Two Above variant does not have the Active Suspension thereby it's suspension will be more calm and sturdy on bad roads. The Larger 70/79kWh battery pack also goes in favour of XEV 9S. But the real factor is price, the Windsor's top variant is almost 5-6L cheaper than the XEV's... So it really comes down to your budget Mr.Ishan.
I currently own XUV700 AXL diesel automatic. Post 80k kms I have been paying a lot of money on maintenance. I don’t know if it will be same with XEV 9S. For Windsor I know it will be less but it doesn’t have any safety rating as of now.
@ishan_garg issue with the ac of the Windsor, it takes a very long time to cool the cabin, range in comparison to XEV 9S is less, also the Windsor's suspension is below par on bad roads. Go for the Mahindra XEV9S, Xe9s or Harrier.
I'm planning to buy 7seater, my usage would be 30:70 city vs highway with 1000km monthly run. Between hycross, XUV 7XO , XEV 9S which one should be suitable for 4 passengers with occasional 6-7 seat occupancy for long term comfort and reliability.
Considering 1000km running, first option would be the Hybrid version of the Hycross. It's a genuine 7 seater, with 3rd row also having good space. Hybrid version cost between 30L and 40L. Alternatively XUV 7X0 Diesel variant will be good. Good mileage of 14-15 kmpl and decently seats 7 people while being almost 4-5L cheaper than the Hycross The XEV 9S can be your choice too considering it's real world range or over 500kms and low running cost combining to give you the best. Do note that you need to have a charger at your home for the real benefits.
Thank you. Given the lower usage (1K km) is it advisable to go with hybrid/EV or Petrol XUV 7XO is sufficient ?
Depends on your budget, Petrol XUV 7X0 should be ok if your budget is below Rs.30L, you also have the XEV 9S 79kWh at that price. To get a good Hybrid of same size, you'll have to go upto Rs.35L for the Innova Hycross Hybrid.
Hello I am planning to buy creta 2017 e plus petrol price Rs.4.5 lakhs gadi runing geniune 75000 km with showroom service can I buy it?
What about EV and HYBRID. COULD not reply by you on this question. If not possible can convey on this platform. Thanks
Explore BYD EMAX , Best space in 3rd row even with all 3 rows up , superb bootspace
Small network of showrooms and service. Not value for money when compared to Mahindra XEV 9S.
Toyota Innova Hycross or Mahindra XEV 9S
