I have a 2013 Honda City automatic, which is now 13 years old. I wish to change my car and buy the Tata Punch EV 40kWh for my use. My monthly running is low, at around 500 km. Would you suggest this car for my usage?

Those suggesting Tata EV or Baleno to upgrade from 2013 Honda city need to understand what driving experience is 🤔 😄 I too drove a city 2012. Also, a tata punch 2026.

@pradeepkumar Did you Honda City gave you any troubles during your ownership? If yes, then please switch to TATA Punch EV. If NOT, then DO NOT go for TATA, rather consider Baleno or Fronx petrol automatic or Brezza. In case you're only interested in EV then check out Syros EV at a showroom near you, you'll feel the upgrade compared to OLD CITY and even new Punch

The Tata Punch EV is a genuinely good product and one of the most affordable ways to get into a practical, well-sized electric car. It offers a comfortable ride and a very usable range for city use. However, Tata Motors has had a mixed track record when it comes to niggles and minor quality issues, and the Punch EV has not been completely immune to that. Most of the issues reported are relatively minor and not deal-breakers, but they can be frustrating over time. Frankly, there is no equivalent option in the same price range. Hence, the Punch EV is the best option for your money , but go in with realistic expectations and make sure you have a good service centre nearby.

I am confused between Creta SX IVT and Elevate CVT for 8000 km of annual running with long trips of 1200 km 3-4 times in a year for a family of 4. Apart from this, day to day usage is less than 100km per month. I am looking for a car for long term ownership and travel comfort.

It offers a quieter, more refined cabin, comfortable rear seats and a smoother CVT, which are particularly valuable when spending several hours on the highway with four people and luggage. My current ride is a Fluidic Verna diesel manual, which is nearing 15 years of ownership and has clocked nearly 2.5 lakh km.
