I am bit confused whether to go in for a petrol version or EV since charging stations are limited at present but government instructions on petrol driven cars in winters in NCR areas. Shall CNG option better?

@manubhai Petrol is a safer option. CNG works too but boot space and performance takes a hit then. By the way, how much is your daily running and do you have a parking spot with charging facility?

In my view buy a second hand petrol or diesel car and wait out for better EV options in 4-5 years

Check out Kylaq. It comes with a more powerful turbo petrol engine than Fronx and was tested 5-star by BNCAP, with its siblings Kushaq , Slavia, Virtus, Taigun with same platform were tested 5 star by GNCAP. Fronx has never been tested by BNCAP or GNCAP. If driven sensibly, it can also yield good FE, as Turbo Petrol engines are more sensitive to driving style than NA ones. With Kylaq, you would definitely feel one class above Fronx. Also, Skoda's after-sales service and spares have become relatively affordable.

Which car should I buy among Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Petrol base or Kia Seltos petrol base? And also tell me if anyone has faced power issue or pickup issue while overtaking as I want the car for long term.

Between the two, the Seltos is the better choice, especially if you are looking at the base variant. It feels more premium, is the newer product and offers a more complete package even in its lower variants.The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol makes 115hp and 144Nm. It isn't a particularly powerful engine, but it is smooth and refined and is perfectly adequate for normal city driving.For overtaking, it won't have the punch of the Seltos turbo, but it isn't underpowered either. With a full load and during quick highway overtakes, you may need to plan ahead and use higher revs. The Grand Vitara's 1.5 petrol is also a smooth, simple powertrain, but its performance is more relaxed and the base variant is quite sparsely equipped.
