The Autocar Performance Show is right around the corner and the Maruti Suzuki Autocross will add to the high-adrenaline theme of India’s most exciting car and bike show. Being held at Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla complex from 17-20 November, the competition will allow drivers to race against the clock around a purpose-built dirt track.
For the uninitiated, autocross is the most popular grassroot motorsport around the globe, being an inexpensive way to get started in competition.
The potential for car damage is almost none, thanks to low speeds, lack of physical obstacles and other cars on track. Anyone who wants to participate can do so in normal road cars with first-timers competing against other novice drivers while professionals can compete in a separate category.
The Maruti Suzuki Autocross will offer enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the thrill of competition and push their cars to the limit in a safe, controlled environment. All this right in the heart of Mumbai! For more details, click here.
