The 15-year-old will be competing as a wildcard entry in the 2026 season-opener, set to be held at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit on April 10-12. Racing runs in Kabilesh’s blood; his father is none other than Rajini Krishnan, who has won an incredible 11 national championships, along with the Losail Asian Championship (600cc) and MSBK titles.
Kabilesh started his racing career in the 2022 FIM MiniGP Indian championship before progressing to the Indian National Racing Championship. He then moved to the Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) in 2024, securing his first international race win at the season finale.

His 2025 season was marred by a leg injury sustained while racing in Round 1 of the 2025 MSBK. After months of recovery and intense training, he was back on the saddle in September and even secured a podium finish at the MSBK season finale. Additionally, he also participated in the Honda Asia Talent Cup selections and has been selected as a reserve rider for the 2026 Honda Asia Talent Cup season.

Kabilesh will now be taking the next step up in his racing career with an ARRC wildcard outing. He’ll be riding a Yamaha R3, representing Team RACR (Rajini Academy of Competitive Racing) on the international stage.

Renewed interest in bringing ARRC to India

Government of Uttar Pradesh’s State Transformation Commission recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with former MotoGP rider Karel Abraham’s motorsport events and advisory company AVW Global to facilitate hosting international-level motorcycle racing at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC)

Along with bringing MotoGP back to India, there are also plans to host ARRC races at the BIC as early as this year itself. Ron Hogg, promotions director at Two Wheels Motor Racing, which holds rights for the ARRC stated, “We are delighted to be represented by AVW Global in India. It is a significant market with deeply passionate fans, and we look forward to racing here as early as July-August, 2026.”

The series has plenty of India relevance as well, with participation from Honda India and TVS. Moreover, the TVS Asia One Make Championship also serves as a supporting event.
