Aditya's team qualifies 7th for Nurburgring 24-hour

Indian driver Aditya Patel has qualified 7th in class and 121st overall for the 40th Nurburgring 24 hour race which got underway this weekend.

Racing for team Pro-handicap e.V, Patel will be piloting an Audi TT-S around the Green Hell, partnered with Wolfgang Müller and Oliver Rudolph.

Aditya lapped the 22.8-km Nordschleife layout in 10 min, 55 secs during a night simulation while his teammate Rudolph was able to post a 10 min, 16 sec lap to qualify seventh  in class.

The 24-hour race will end at 1930hrs IST.
