Crowds in Mumbai had the chance to feast their eyes on some gravity-defying motorcycle stunts with Red Bull bringing its FMX Jam to Mumbai for the very first time.
With the Gateway of India serving as the backdrop for the event, Red Bull brought six renowned freestyle motocross athletes to showcase their skills, including legendary stunt rider Robbie Maddision – famous for being the stunt double for Vin Diesel in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage and Daniel Craig’s in Skyfall – along with Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour Champion Tom Pagès and FMX rider Alexei Kolesnikov. Maddison is also known for physics-deyfing stunts; like riding his motorcycle on water and using a ski jump as a ramp. They were joined by Red Bull athletes Martin Koren, Radek Bilek and Julien Vanstippen.
Speaking about his experience at the Red Bull FMX Jam in Mumbai, Robbie Maddison said, “As a motocross rider who has been doing this for 15 years, I have had my fair share of injuries and near-fatal accidents. But nothing has ever stopped me from doing this. I will continue to ride. It was exciting to see so many fans in Mumbai and to perform for the enthusiastic crowd at the Red Bull FMX Jam along with all the other amazing athletes.”
