The Formula Rossa rollercoaster at Ferrari's new theme park in Abu Dhabi will accelerate from 0-62mph in 2.0sec, making it the fastest rollercoaster in the world.
The rollercoaster will take centre stage at the theme park, due to open later this year in time for the Abu Dhabi GP, and has been designed to replicate the accelerating force of Ferrari's Formula One cars.
It is powered by an 18,000-horsepower winch and its highest point will reach a height of 52 metres (170 feet). The rollercoaster is 2.09km long and users will experience up to 1.7g-forces along the course. The sharpest corners are 70-degree turns.
Other attractions at the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi include a Ferrari F430 rollercoaster, which races two cars side by side along the track. There will be more than 20 rides and attractions in total at the theme park.
