The launch of the Skoda Yeti facelift is just around the corner. The facelift will be offered only with the option of the top-end elegance trim. It also gets the option of front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions.

There are some cosmetic changes on the outside that include new aggressive front and rear bumpers, bi-xenon headlamps, LED taillamps, new housings for the wing mirrors, new alloys and colour options for the roof.

Changes on the inside are not too prominent except for the new steering wheel taken from the Skoda Octavia. Some additions include keyless entry, climate control, leather-wrapped seats and steering, electrically-foldable wing mirrors and an eight-speaker audio system. On the safety front, the Skoda Yeti gets cruise control, ABS, EBD, brake assist, tyre pressure monitors, ESP and hill-hold.

Power comes from the same 2.0-litre TDI motor as the old car that makes 108.5bhp in the front-wheel-drive variant combined with a five-speed manual gearbox, and 138bhp in the all-wheel-drive variant mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
