Fiat had previously teased the new Linea with a photo showcasing the new car’s tail lamp design and integrated rear spoiler. Now pictures of the interior from one of the test mules have found their way on to the internet, just days before the car's official unveiling.

As seen in the pictures, the car gets a new interior with bits borrowed from the Fiat 500X crossover. The steering is sourced from the Fiat 500X but now comes with silver accents in addition to the steering-mounted controls. The centre console now features a larger infotainment system mounted on top with the air-con vents located below. The air-con controls are also shared with the 500X and seem to get chrome detailing around the edges. A silver trim runs between the air-con vents and controls dials, dividing the dashboard in two. The front occupants also get a centre armrest. The gear-lever also seems to be like the one on the 500X.

The new Linea is expected to get Fiat’s 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel engine and 1.4-litre Multiair turbo-petrol engine. The car is set to debut later this month at the Istanbul auto show, with production to begin internationally by 2016-end.

In India, however, the current Linea is expected to continue unchanged for a while, with Fiat remaining silent about bringing this new model to India.
