New Honda Mobilio variants explained

Honda has just launched its Mobilio MPV in both petrol and diesel variants. The Mobilio petrol range starts at Rs 6.49 lakh for the base E trim, while the top petrol V trim costs Rs 8.76 lakh. The Mobilio diesel E trim is priced at Rs 7.89 lakh and the top-end RS trim is priced at Rs 10.86 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

 

The Mobilio petrol gets power from a 1.5-litre, 117bhp i-VTEC engine, which also powers the new Honda City. The diesel variant gets a 1.5-litre, 99bhp i-DTEC engine, which is shared with the Amaze and the new City diesel variants. 

 

The Mobilio base E trim gets a chrome front grille, air conditioning, power steering, tilt adjustable steering and reclining seats for the second and third rows. Only the diesel E trim gets ABS with EBD.

The Mobilio S trim will get all the features of the E trim, and will additionally get an integrated 2-DIN audio system (same as the Amaze) with steering mounted audio controls. It also gets body colored wing mirrors and door handles, keyless entry, rear defogger and height adjustable driver's seat along with rear AC vents.

 

The Mobilio V trim gets extra kit like a driver and front passenger airbags, alloy wheels, rear wiper with washer and front fog lamps. On the inside, it gets a dual tone interior and a sliding second row.

The RS trim will only come with a diesel engine. The Mobilio RS gets projector headlamps with LED elements, chrome garnishing on the outside, electrically adjustable and folding wing mirrors with turn indicators, and a tailgate spoiler. It even gets alloy wheels with a design different than the lower V trim.
