A little more than two months after announcing its re-entry in India, Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has inaugurated its first dealership in New Delhi in partnership with AMP Supercars. The showroom, located near Mathura Road, will include sales, after-sales service and will also function as a parts facility.

The showroom will showcase models from the Maserati stable such as the Ghibli sedan, the Quattroporte diesel, the Quattroporte GTS, the GranTurismo sports coupe and the GranCabrio. The showroom also includes an exclusive customer lounge and a configurator area where interested buyers can customise their cars.

Maserati had to wind up operations around three years ago after its previous stint in the country with the Indian distributor Shreyans Group ran into trouble. The Italian marque, owned by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, now plans to open two more dealerships in Mumbai and Bangalore in the near term. Maserati’s return to India follows the return of its FCA sibling Ferrari, which recently marked the start of its second innings in India with a product portfolio of five models.

“We are thrilled to begin our journey in India with our first dealership launch... Not only is there a demand for exclusive luxury products in the market; clients also expect world-class standards which we aim to meet with this new facility under the leadership of AMP Supercars,” Bojan Jankulovski, head of operations for India, said in a statement.

Maserati India prices (ex-showroom).

Maserati Ghibli diesel: Rs 1.1 crore

Maserati Quattroporte diesel: Rs 1.50 crore

Maserati GranTurismo: Rs 1.80 crore

Maserati GranCabrio: Rs 2.00 crore

Maserati Quattroporte GTS: Rs 2.20 crore
