    Maruti Ritz Elate launched

Maruti has launched a special edition variant of the Ritz hatchback called the Ritz Elate.

The Ritz Elate is priced at Rs 20,000 more than the standard variant.

The special edition Ritz gets cosmetic add-ons such as body graphics, floor mats, ambient lighting package, an additional bag on the driver’s seat back, door visors, neck cushions and a steering wheel cover.

Apart from the aforementioned features, customers can also buy a music system with speakers, a Bluetooth kit, parking sensors and seat covers at a discounted rate. Maruti is also offering a discount of Rs 30,000-50,000 on the Ritz, depending on variant.

The Ritz Elate will be powered by the same 1.2-litre K-series petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engines that power the standard car. Both are mated to a 5-speed gearbox and an optional 4-speed automatic for the petrol.
