Despite the recent excise duty cut, February’s sales figures haven’t been the best. In a bid to attract more buyers, even Maruti, India’s largest carmaker, is offering discounts on most of its product portfolio.

Both the Swift and Swift Dzire are available with a discount of Rs 10,000, plus an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 if you want to sell your old car to them, plus there’s a Rs 1500 corporate discount if you work for a listed company. You stand to save a total of Rs 61,500 on the Swift hatchback and Dzire sedan.

The Ritz is also on sale with a Rs 20,000 discount, plus a Rs 1500 corporate discount and a Rs 50,000 exchange bonus. There’s quite a sizeable discount on the SX4 sedan. You can get a Rs 40,000 discount, a Rs 50,000 exchange bonus and a Rs 1500 corporate discount, taking the total up to Rs 91,500.

The WagonR and WagonR Stingray are available with a tempting Rs 30,000 discount, plus a Rs 30,000 exchange bonus and a Rs 1500 corporate discount. If you’re looking at the seven-seat Ertiga, you can stand to save a total of Rs 41,500 through a discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 and a corporate bonus of Rs 1500.

There are no discounts on the new Maruti Celerio though.
