Honda earlier showed us the Mobilio MPV in two slightly different trim levels. One was the conventional look while the other carried the faux wood trim with the AVN package.

This package came with a touchscreen audio system installed in the MPV, along with some faux wood trim, leather seats, lit side step and fog lamps. The touchscreen system also had various features bundled in one, such as navigation, reverse camera screen along with a conventional audio and video system.

Honda has now decided not to offer this AVN trim level at launch. The wood trim on the dash and the touchscreen system, along with the other features of this trim level, will not make it to the production version of the Honda Mobilio MPV.

Honda, however, will sell these as an option pack  to customers who wish to have it retro fitted. The pack will also be offered on the Mobilio RS trim, to be launched three months after the standard Mobilio, which will be officially launched on July 23, 2014.

This means all standard Mobilios will come with the same dashboard treatment as seen on the Amaze sedan in a black and beige combo; the brown plastic has been dropped. The higher variants will get the same 2-DIN system that does duty in the Amaze and Brio.
