Honda Amaze, Mobilio Celebration Edition launched

The special-edition models get premium upholstery on the inside and body graphics on the outside; engines remain unchanged.

The festive season is around the corner and true to form, automakers are lining up special edition cars in order to woo potential buyers. Close on the heels of the launch of the Renault Duster Explore and the Skoda Rapid Anniversary Edition, Honda today launched a ‘Celebration Edition’ of its Amaze sedan and the Mobilio MPV.

While the exteriors mostly remain unchanged, both the cars come with updated interiors such as new upholstery which includes premium seat covers and cushions, a stylish steering wheel cover and upmarket floor mats. On the outside, the cars get body graphics coupled with an emblem to highlight the special edition. These special editions of the Honda Amaze and Mobilio will be made available across all trims. The cars will only be offered in Taffeta White and Orchid White Pearl paint schemes.

The special-edition kit for the Honda Amaze comes at a price of Rs 12,476, while that for the Mobilio is priced at Rs 16,820. Extra fitment charges which will also be applied over the price of the variant.

Furthermore, country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki is working on a limited edition of the Swift called the Swift SP. Scheduled to launch during the upcoming festive season, the limited-edition Swift SP will be based on the base L trim (LXi and LDi) of the standard car.
