    Fiesta tops customer satisfaction

Ford Fiesta continues to be on the top spot in the consumer satisfaction for the midsize segment, according to a recent TNS study.

Fiesta has bagged the top honour for the second consecutive year. Last year it triumphed the TNS study in the diesel midsize segment. Commenting on the achievement, Michael Boneham, Ford India president and managing director said, "Fiesta is a winning product in our portfolio as demonstrated by its leadership in the midsize category in the TNS Automotive 2010 India Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) study for two consecutive years. We are proud to see the Fiesta receive the recognition and resonate so well with our customers.”

Ford India will soon take the game ahead in the midsize segment with the launch of its next-gen Fiesta saloon. Slated to be launched by mid-2011, the new Fiesta will be sold alongside the current Fiesta which will be renamed as Fiesta Classic.

In relation to the arrival of the new Fiesta, Boneham said, “We are delighted the new Fiesta is coming to India. It will provide Indian customers a premium sedan that reflects their personality in terms of style, technology and performance, and will add a new level of diversity and dynamism to our showrooms."
