Completely undisguised models of the Fiat Punto Evo Abarth and the Fiat Avventura Abarth have been spotted going through road testing in India.

As shown in the pictures, the Punto Evo Abarth wears the T-Jet badge on the boot lid. Other notable changes include the red Abarth decals along the lower door panels, new Abarth wheels and a chrome-tipped exhaust pipe. The Avventura is expected to be no different from the standard car, apart from the Abarth-brand badging.

In terms of the mechanical changes, both cars will get a 1.4-litre T-Jet motor from the Linea T-Jet but with power bumped up to 135bhp. The Punto Evo will get disc brakes front and back and a stiffer suspension to equip it to handle the extra power.

Fiat will be launching the Abarth performance brand in August 2015 with the Fiat Punto Evo Abarth and Fiat Avventura Abarth being offered alongside the Abarth 595, the high-performance version of the Abarth 500 which in turn is a high performance version of the Fiat 500.
