The new Bentley Flying Spur W12 S is officially the fastest four-door Bentley ever made, racing to a top speed of 325kph, and managing a 0-100kph time of 4.5 seconds, despite its hefty 2.5-tonne bulk.

The W12 S accomplishes this owing to a retuned version of the Flying Spur’s W12; power has been upped to 635hp, and torque to 820Nm. The car gets revised interior and exterior styling, as well as a revised suspension setup said to offer better handling and body control without compromising on comfort.

To differentiate it from its ‘slower’ siblings, the W12 S is adorned with a Beluga gloss radiator grille and light surrounds, 21-inch seven-spoke wheels with gloss black finish and a rear diffuser on the outside. It also features headrests and treadplates marked with a W12 S logo, standard three-spoke Sport Plus steering wheel and knurled gearshift paddles on the inside.

Bentley has not yet revealed prices for the Flying Spur W12 S, though it should be priced at a hefty premium over the standard car’s £154,900 (Rs 1.37 crore) British price-tag. However, there is no clarity on whether Bentley will offer the car in the Indian market.
