Mercedes has revealed a Formula 1-inspired version of its track-focused AMG GT 63 Pro, called the Motorsport Collectors Edition. This special model is limited to just 200 units and features a livery similar to that used by the brand’s W14 and W15 F1 cars in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, respectively.

The limited-run car is finished in Obsidian Black metallic paint. It gets hand-painted Mercedes stars and contrasting stripes in title sponsor Petronas’ corporate aqua blue. This colour is also seen on the front and rear splitters, side skirts, shoulder lines, around the 21-inch wheels, and brake callipers.

The Motorsport Collectors Edition car also gets the AMG Night Package, which brings along a blacked-out treatment for the grille and Mercedes star badges. It also comes with a panoramic glass roof and a fixed rear spoiler, both of which are optional extras on the standard GT. It rides on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R Cup tyres, with 295/30 ZR21 at the front and 305/30 ZR21 at the rear.

On the inside, the special edition gets seats finished in black nappa leather and microfiber cloth, with stitching done in aqua blue. It comes with AMG door sills coated in black and illuminated in aqua blue. The Motorsport Collectors Edition also gets a special AMG indoor car cover.

Powering the Motorsport Collectors Edition is the same 4.0‑litre, V8 twin-turbo engine as the standard GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ that puts out 612hp. The company claims to have introduced some ‘aerodynamic fine-tuning’ with reduced lift and more powerful cooling for enhanced driving dynamics.

The brand has not revealed its price yet and it is unlikely to be brought to the Indian market.
