Ford EcoSport bookings commence

According to reports, some Ford dealerships have unofficially started taking bookings for the upcoming EcoSport. The booking amount for the same is Rs 50,000, with deliveries being made by end June or early July.

While it has not been confirmed yet, Ford is expected to launch the EcoSport by mid June.

When it is launched here, it will be available in four trims – Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Optional – and three engine options. These include a 1.5-litre diesel, 1.5-litre petrol and Ford’s much lauded 1.0-litre turbocharged and direct injection EcoBoost engine that puts out 123bhp.
