Indian car buyers waited a long time to get an EcoSport as Ford took their time before going ahead with a sensational launch. Even now, after the EcoSport has hit showrooms, buyers will require a fair bit of patience as the waiting list for the EcoSport is quite long.

Despite rumours to the contrary, dealerships are accepting bookings, and the wait for the EcoSport can vary hugely depending on which variant you choose. Of the TDCi range, the entry level Ambient version has a waiting period of two months. The Trend variant that sits one notch above packs in useful extras like ABS, steering wheel-mounted audio controls and faux leather seats, but you will have to wait three months for this variant.
